With these bookings there should be no second payment for the footage; if a charge comes up at the launch anyway, the listing is on your side.

Paid on the day

Only Fly offers GoPro or Insta360 footage as an option you choose when booking. Medellin Best Local Tours excludes the GoPro video from its package. For Top 10 tours in Medellín and for BlueSky the evidence comes from reviews: travellers describe paying for the video at the launch. We do not quote amounts here; they change, and according to reviews they are often paid in pesos at the launch.

When the listing contradicts itself

The listing of the San Félix aeroclub names photos and video among the inclusions and mentions a charge in the same text. One reviewer from May 2025 writes that the photos were put straight onto their phones, another that the GoPro was offered for a fee. Ask the aeroclub which applies to your booking before you go.

Agree on the video before you take off

The camera is the pilot’s responsibility, and it does not always work. One traveller on the Top 10 tours flight writes that her GoPro failed and the pilot was busier fixing it than flying. A short check at the launch helps: ask whether the pilot films the whole flight or only the start and landing, how you receive the files (on your phone, by link or by WhatsApp), and whether photos are part of it. How do I get the video after the flight?

Reviewers describe the photos being put onto their phone at the launch. Ask your pilot how the files are handed over before you take off.

Can I bring my own camera?

The listings do not say. Ask the operator when you book, and do not take anything into the air that you have not agreed on with your pilot.

What is the difference between GoPro and Insta360?

Only Fly offers both. A GoPro films in one direction; an Insta360 records all around, so the view can be chosen afterwards. Ask which one your pilot carries.
